Installation, Usage & Care information
Installation, Usage & Care information
- Clear wrap your frame to avoid rub marks from straps and pressure against the frame from a fully packed bag. Depending on paint quality and ride conditions, grit will find its way under any strap and wear off paint.
- YKK zips are extremely quality, but it doesn't mean that you should overpack and try to close the zip.
- If the zip is a bit rough and you can't wash it to clean out grit, try bike lube on the teeth – it makes a difference.
- Framebags are as waterproof as the fabric but not watertight. Dry bag things that can't get wet. Usually not a place to store clothes – they should be in a dry roll or dry bag in a pannier.
- Do not throw into washing machine or dryer.
- Scrub with a plastic bristle brush
- If doing a thorough clean, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash and SolarProof.
- Do not use detergent or softeners
