You've seen it on all the ultra racers' bikes – those super long top tube bags. Chances are, you've seen ones that don't quite fit the whole length of the tube, because they're not custom made.

For those who want to do things 'properly', get a Limousine made here to fit precisely – or even better – to match the other bags in the order.

Limousines won't make standing over your top tube any easier, but since they stem from ultra racing, it's not expected you'd stop much. For the vertically challenged, it's the other option to running double top tube bags and will avoid the thigh-rub problem.

Features

Standard features across all Limousines:

  • Every bag is tailor made and all pieces individually hand-cut to your chosen measurements
  • Double zip sliders that open towards the middle
  • 3 sets of shockcord + cord lock hook fastening system. Proven to work on the smaller top tube bags preventing 'bag flop'.
  • Extra velcro straps for the middle of the bag
  • Velcro halfway divider
  • Zip covers both ends
  • Front charging cable exit
  • Plastic inner sides to prevent bulge and retains bag shape
  • Foam inside base to prevent contents from rattling on the frame
  • Front end angled at approx 85°, which fits all common head tube angles in hardtails, gravel bikes, road bikes and some full suspension frames except for the odd one (fabric is forgiving).

Usage & Care information

  • Pilot top tube bags are waterproof but not watertight. Moisture will get through seams if exposed to heavy rain for prolonged period of time.
  • Don't hesitate to pull the shockcords tight until the bag is secured.
  • If your frame is made from steel/titanium tubes, it's likely there's lots of extra length in the shockcord as there's more provided for bags to attach to chunky frames – you can cut off the excess with sharp scissors and seal the ends with a lighter.
  • Do not throw into washing machine or dryer.
  • Scrub with a plastic bristle brush
  • If doing a thorough clean, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash and SolarProof.
  • Do not use detergent or softeners
