The Paper Roads Pilot top tube bag is a response & solution to the common complaint from many people top tube bag designs that hasn't been properly thought out – they flop and fail to secure to the bike. Despite its size, top tube bags are undoubtedly the trickiest of bike bags to design and produce to a quality, highly functional level.

Double shockcord & cord lock hook system with extra length to wrap around chunky hardtail frames
Yonder size: it's more or less level with the average stem.
Overland size: this top tube bag is designed as a large bikepacking bag that looks good as well.
Tapered width: makes it a practical bag. Regardless of top tube width, the wide front end does not affect how well the bag sits. The foam lined soft base allows the bag to slightly form to the top tube over time. (Bolt-on bags will have stiff bases, lined with foam)

Usage & Care information

Pilot top tube bags are not watertight. Moisture will get through seams if exposed to heavy rain for prolonged period of time.
Don't hesitate to pull the shockcords tight until the bag is secured.
If your frame is made from steel/titanium tubes, it's likely there's lots of extra length in the shockcord as there's more provided for bags to attach to chunky frames – you can cut off the excess with sharp scissors and seal the ends with a lighter.
Do not throw into washing machine or dryer.
Scrub with a plastic bristle brush
If doing a thorough clean, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash and SolarProof.
Do not use detergent or softeners
