The Bandito is a quick access, quick release bag that pairs with the Ranger Harness in a revised, more seamless design. Most complaints heard about front bags from other brands is that they hang too low. The Bandito comes with adjustable hang straps to position it perfectly no matter what's going on in the front of the bike!
Select Bandito Universal to make it compatible with any front harness, handlebar roll or cradle.
Inside every bag is a waterproof, seam taped inner – it's a waterproof bag as long as the roll top is rolled well and it doesn't go swimming.
The 80mm deep sizing is ideal for drop bar bikes to increase carrying capacity otherwise limited by handlebar width.
The Bandito can be used in 3 other ways, ready for off-the-bike tourist activities – just select the accessories you desire.
Its size and shape is practical for all its intended purposes. The Bandito works best when used as a front roll bag paired with a Paper Roads Ranger Harness.
The Ranger Harness or Dry roll is not included.

Which Bandito is right for you?
BANDITO ORIGINAL – comes as the bag itself, that pairs with the Paper Roads Ranger Harness to hang over the front of any dry roll. Buckles will be provided to slide into your Ranger harness straps. If you're purchasing a Ranger Harness as well, the matching buckles will come ready. Then, just clip on and set the bag to hang at the desired height.
- Opt to add accessories: shoulder strap, handlebar bag strap set (that turns the bag into Bandito Universal), or packable/removable hipstraps.
BANDITO UNIVERSAL – pairs with any harness/cradle and front roll system as long as you have handlebars! The universally compatible strap set doubles as handlebar bag straps so you can use it as a standalone handlebar bag.
- Opt to add accessories: shoulder strap, or packable/removable hipstraps.
BANDITO HIP PACK – If you like the look of the bag but have no use for a front roll bag, you can order this is a Hip pack and it will only function as a Hip pack and handlebar bag. It doesn't have the extra dangly bits that the other options have. The hip straps will not be minimalist or as easily 'packable' but still detachable/tuckable, with foam padding, spacer mesh and wider hip strap. This bag is made at 80mm deep only.

FEATURES: Bandito Original & Universal
IT'S BASICALLY WATERTIGHT – The inner lining is laminated with plastic and seam taped. Just roll it down enough to keep rain out but don't fall into a river or submerge underwater.
SIZED FOR DROPBARS & SHORTER RIDERS – Whilst dry roll lengths are limited to the width of your drops, the Bandito aims to assist with drop bar riders and those struggling with space to pack with ease. Just chose the 'Extra' bag depth option.
SIZED FOR TRAVELLERS – The 80mm deep option fits cameras, a 13" Ipad, or plenty of food.
QUICK, 3-POINT CLIP ON, CLIP OFF – Once you've adjusted the bag's hang height (with 30cm of strap allowance), just clip the two buckles at the top and one at the bottom. The bottom buckle runs on a length of UV-resistant elastic so that straps don't have to be readjusted if your front roll is slightly bigger or smaller during the trip.
EXPANDABLE ROLL TOP – with adjustable strap, if your food resupply demands the space.
FRONT STUFF POCKET – made with 4 way stretch mesh that all pack makers are using right now! It's woven with UHMWPE fibres, so it's quite tear resistant (scissors don't cut the fabric). Quality's in the details – to ensure your things don't bounce out, tighten the pocket with the shockcord and cord lock.
ADD ON MULTI-USE ACCESSORIES – opting for the extra parts include a lightweight shoulder strap and handlebar bag straps turns it into a versatile piece of equipment
ADD ON A HIP STRAP – Might as well? The strap is detachable/tuckable and minimal with 25mm wide webbing. There is a buckle in the back of the bag, so it may not be that comfortable to wear for a long time.

BANDITO ORIGINAL
- If you're not purchasing a Ranger Harness in the same order, you'll be provided with 2x female quick release buckles and 1x male (which is not a match), to insert into your Ranger Harness.
- The 2x female buckles slide into the handlebar straps so that the male parts on the Bandito straps clip in.
- The 1x male part inserts into the centre strap of the Ranger Harness, pointing upwards so that the 3rd point of the bag gets held down. You need to wriggle the strap out of the buckle that it's in already (or trim the strap and singe the end with a lighter). Once the provided part is pushed down the end of the strap, put the other buckle back in place.
- Clip the Bandito on and tighten the straps so that is some tension on the elastic in the back, give the front end a good shake to ensure the bag doesn't jump.
BANDITO UNIVERSAL
- 2x handlebar straps are provided with female quick release buckles attached – do up the cam lock straps tight on your handlebars.
- 1 x shockcord unit with cord lock + hook and male quick release provided – secure the shockcord end to something on your existing harness by locking it with the hook in the cord lock.
- Clip the Bandito to the handlebars and adjust the straps to the desired hang height over your front roll.
- Clip the bottom buckle together and adjust the shockcord length so that there is some tension on the bag. Give the front end a good shake to ensure the bag doesn't jump.
HANDLEBAR BAG SETUP
- Attach the camlock straps to handlebars through the webbing slots in the bag.
- Clip in the rear strap and loop the shockcord under the front fork. Clip the cord-lock hook back onto the shockcord and tighten.
- Tuck in or tie up extra lengths away from the wheel.
- Do not throw into washing machine or dryer.
- Scrub with a plastic bristle brush
- If needing a quick clean, soak in cold water with mild detergent
- If doing a thorough clean, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash and SolarProof.
