Pricing & Custom features
Pricing & Custom features
- The basic price of custom dual suspension framebags are determined by the size of your bike in this guide.
- Please open the order form above in Ordering Step 2 to see pricing & custom feature options
Standard framebag features
Standard framebag features
- YKK waterproof zips
- Framebags can be built to maximum width to take advantage of carrying capacity. Bags are wider in the middle (~80-90mm wide) than the back along the seat tube, and the nose can flare to a width of 110mm, which is recommended for small frames. Bags for steel frames tend to be less fat, with aesthetics considered.
- Top tube velcro wrap around for supporting full bags
- Fluoro lining
- Padding around inside of bag against bike frame to prevent rattling
- Light foam structure for larger bags to help hold shape
- Zip garage with hydration/cable exit
- Low profile, removable Velcro straps, with PVC reinforcements sewn into each mounting point in the bag.
Installation, Usage & Care information
Installation, Usage & Care information
- Clear wrap your frame to avoid rub marks from straps and pressure against the frame from a fully packed bag. Depending on paint quality and ride conditions, grit will find its way under any strap and wear off paint.
- Velcro straps in bottom side towards the front may be omitted and the bag shouldn't shift as long as the top is held firmly.
- YKK zips are extremely quality, but it doesn't mean that you should overpack and try to close the zip.
- If the zip is a bit rough and you can't wash it to clean out grit, try bike lube on the teeth – it makes a difference.
- Framebags are as waterproof as the fabric but not watertight. Dry bag things that can't get wet. Usually not a place to store clothes – they should be in a dry roll or dry bag in a pannier.
- Do not throw into washing machine or dryer.
- Scrub with a plastic bristle brush
- If doing a thorough clean, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash and SolarProof.
- Do not use detergent or softeners
